These are the 3rd Red pair we have bought. My son uses them for both Baseball and fastpitch softball; he has competed for his State at Nationals for both. He likes the low cut design, and they dont look "girly", in spite of being a ladies shoe.
He has actually been called by umpires for wearing metals; the silver cleats fooled 'em!
The cleats on his landing foot wore down fairly quickly on a gravel-type surface, but they are fine on normal dirt and on artificial grass surfaces, and have quite a "sharp" bottom edge to them, very similar to metals anyway. These cleats are nearly impossible to get in Australia, but worth the effort. Light, comfortable and durable. They hold their shape well, and dont take much effort to keep clean. We'll probably have to buy one more pair before he goes to metals, and this will be the cleats we will be buying.
